Market - Correction

Prices adjusted down this morning as the market found yesterday’s lift a bit too sharp given wetter forecasts. But dry weather and a weak resource situation continue to fuel bullish sentiments among players.
The main forwards reached their highest closing prices since early January yesterday as the market resumed its pre-Easter bull track. Bone-dry weather throughout the Easter and little snow in the mountains feeds the bullish arguments. Market - Staying bullish
Yesterday’s downside proved to be just a correction to the strong bull trend, and when today’s forecast also showed a slightly drier scenario, the forwards headed north again. V2-03 has been traded at NOK/MWh 269 today, its highest price since January 3.

Yesterday’s downside proved to be just a correction to the strong bull trend, and when today’s forecast also showed a slightly drier scenario, the forwards headed north again. V2-03 has been traded at NOK/MWh 269 today, its highest price since January 3.

Market - Possible downside
After opening down this morning, the forwards resumed their bullish track from last Wednesday seeing the SO-03 trading above NOK/MWh 240 and the V2-03 above NOK 260. Players powernews.org spoke to earlier this morning expected the market to turn down later in the week due to more influx and wetter weather causing downward pressure on the system price. The weeks are 4-6 NOKs down from last Wednesday.
