Market - Bullish now

The Friday market was lifted in the forwards, later also in the front, seeing the summer contract trade up some 5 NOK from yesterday. A Swedish trader considered the lift too big, while a Norwegian trader said that although the weather had been mild so far this winter, it wouldn’t necessarily stay that way.
The current price level seems to be quite acceptable to the market mind, but the morning’s lift in the summer contract was nevertheless too much, the Swedish trader held. - Yesterday prices started to lift so it wasn’t surprising that it continued up today. To fill the gap was ok, but I don’t see any good reason to take the summer contract above 211 NOK/MWh. There are f

The Thursday morning market was sideways and thin, seeing no big changes in the weather outlooks. “But the weak spot is what the producers have feared and we have predicted, but right now the market needs a trigger,” a Norwegian player said. A trader believed players would wait and see till next week before taking much action.
