Market - Bull nerves

Prices jumped north this morning on suggestions of a high pressure towards the end of the 10-day period. V1-04 traded as high as 256.50 NOK/MWh before adjusting a few NOK south later on.
- The underlying sentiment in the market remains bullish, and as soon as hints of a new high pressure is forecast, the market leaps north. As long as we have a 25-30 TWh resource deficit I think the market will remain thin, volatile and react nervously to any bull signals, a Swedish trader said.Today’s bulls signal was the EC operational forecast that predicted a high pressure late

Fuelled with more mild forecasts, the Wednesday market has adjusted down on low volumes. But there is no big momentum to the downside, and a Norwegian trader warned that it is too early to call the winter off yet.
