Market - Bear? Not yet

Heavy rain yesterday and more bearish forecasts has not been enough to turn the bull market this morning. The V2-03 contract stays above NOK 250 in a market that is thin on liquidity.
It has been soaking wet in Southern Norway the last couple of days, and although the weather should dry up the rest of this week today’s forecast indicate more than normal amounts of precipitation the next 10 days. This has not been enough to move the market though, and prices stay very much at yesterday’s levels with V2-03 staying above NOK 250 and Year 04 at NOK 215.- I fin

Market - Possible trend change
The market opened further down this morning with most contracts settling 2-4 NOKs below yesterday’s closing levels. A Swedish trader believed today’s drop is a natural correction before the market starts heading north again, while a Norwegian producer was more bearish.

The market opened further down this morning with most contracts settling 2-4 NOKs below yesterday’s closing levels. A Swedish trader believed today’s drop is a natural correction before the market starts heading north again, while a Norwegian producer was more bearish.

Market - Still strong, but for how long?
After a weak opening, forward prices rose steadily throughout the day finishing around yesterday´s closing levels. The Wednesday system price came out on the stronger side of expectations at NOK/MWh 225.29 (+8.16), and helped lift he market this afternoon.

Heavy rain yesterday and more bearish forecasts has not been enough to turn the bull market this morning. The V2-03 contract stays above NOK 250 in a market that is thin on liquidity.
It has been soaking wet in Southern Norway the last couple of days, and although the weather should dry up the rest of this week today’s forecast indicate more than normal amounts of precipitation the next 10 days.
