Market - Bear and deliver

The morning market fell first carefully then a few more NOKs from the strong Thursday close on more news of more low-pressure activity. Doubts whether precipitation actually will be delivered continue to keep up the price levels, however, but a Norwegian player argued that if precipitation is delivered over the weekend, Monday could be bloody.
Another player maintained that much depends on whether we now get westerly weather with plenty of precipitation in March, but both considered today´s weather forecast as too extreme. Market - Humbug weather keeps market strong
A weak Monday spot and wet and mild weather brought the morning market down in the front. The forwards remain strong, however, and despite a weak open the contracts lifted back above the Friday close. Players today agreed that the market continues to show great strength, and pointed to the possibility of a return to high-pressure weather and the weak hydro balance as the reasons for this.

Market - Humbug weather keeps market strong
A weak Monday spot and wet and mild weather brought the morning market down in the front. The forwards remain strong, however, and despite a weak open the contracts lifted back above the Friday close. Players today agreed that the market continues to show great strength, and pointed to the possibility of a return to high-pressure weather and the weak hydro balance as the reasons for this.

The Thursday market opened marginally down, but the overall mood this morning seemed to be indifference to the movement and basically the market went nowhere. The weather outlooks are wetter or drier depending on who’s looking, and little action was triggered as a consequence, players said. A Swedish producer argued that the underlying market sentiment remains bullish.
