Market - Approaching Easter on a bullish track

The market approaches the five-day Easter break on a bullish track seeing next week up NOK/MWh 5 from yesterday at NOK 252 and the other forwards established at their highest prices since mid-March. There is much uncertainty on what happens when the market reopens on Tuesday. Producers powernews.org spoke with this morning expected it to head further north.

Market - Possible downside
After opening down this morning, the forwards resumed their bullish track from last Wednesday seeing the SO-03 trading above NOK/MWh 240 and the V2-03 above NOK 260. Players powernews.org spoke to earlier this morning expected the market to turn down later in the week due to more influx and wetter weather causing downward pressure on the system price. The weeks are 4-6 NOKs down from last Wednesday.
