Market - A little bit of power everywhere

The Thursday afternoon market continued correcting down after the morning peak, and sellers entered quite so numerously when the one piece of information after the other was brought in that the situation is not so bad as presented yesterday. Interestingly enough, there is a little bit of power everywhere.
The most desperate scenario is temporarily - or permanently - cancelled, and the financial market has taken in that the physical will manage through the winter. The market itself, industrial leaders, the power-intensive industries and the Swedes combined have presented information to the market, and consequently a certain stability may have been regained. Market - Thank God it´s Friday
Friday opened up after yesterday´s correction, but the market seemed to be in a state of consolidation this morning. That did not prevent V1-03 from lifting back to 600 NOK/MWh, however, and next week to trade up to 900 NOK/MWh. Looking back, this week won´t be easily forgotten. An entire week with dry and cold forecasts and unparallelled price movements is nevertheless coming to an end, and the question now is what next week will bring.

Market - Thank God it´s Friday
Friday opened up after yesterday´s correction, but the market seemed to be in a state of consolidation this morning. That did not prevent V1-03 from lifting back to 600 NOK/MWh, however, and next week to trade up to 900 NOK/MWh. Looking back, this week won´t be easily forgotten. An entire week with dry and cold forecasts and unparallelled price movements is nevertheless coming to an end, and the question now is what next week will bring.

Market - A thousand and a turnaround
The Thursday morning market was lifted to new all time highs for the fourth consecutive day, and week 50 and 51 was taken up to 1,000 NOK/MWh, while V1-03 had a volatility of 120 NOK. A number of melting plants in Norway have now stopped their production, the Friday spot is possibly going to disappoint the market, general fear, and the feeling that this was enough for this week, took the morning peaks down considerably. Players we have spoken with today believe the market will ride the storm off.
