Gas - Zeebrugge largely firmer amid lacklustre activity

(Heren Energy) - Gas prices at Zeebrugge closed largely firmer on Thursday amid lacklustre spot activity, which was partially muted by a major industry event.
Most transactions took place in the morning hours, with trading interest focussing on Weekend, November and Q1 ´04. A market source explained the comparatively thin liquidity in Day-ahead by saying that many buyers had already balanced their positions recently during the price surge in the contract. He added that spot sellers kept to the sidelines in expectation of rising prices as temperatures
