(Heren Energy) - Prompt contracts edged higher at Zeebrugge on Thursday, amid continued buying from players at the NBP, following the announcement on Wednesday from British pipeline operator Transco of the closure of a southern terminal for a week. Zeebrugge Day-ahead opened more than 0.50 p/th firmer at 19.50 p/th and was supported at this level until the late afternoon, primarily as a result of UK demand, said traders.
Offers fell away, however, towards the end of the day, with the result that the contract closed just 0.20 p/th firmer day-on-day.
