(Heren Energy) - The very Prompt remained firm on the back of gains at the NBP during a thin session at Zeebrugge on Tuesday. Day-ahead opened 0.25 p/th weaker from Monday´s close at 21.75 p/th before retracing to a high of 22.40 p/th, while Day-ahead basis traded rangebound at 0.50-0.60 p/th.
The Weekend contract (24th-26th May) similarly held within established levels, dealing at 19.90-20.00 p/th. Volumes further out remained low, however, as players remained reluctant to enter into new deals amid the thin liquidity. “Falling oil prices have brought some confidence back to the NBP, but this has not fed through into Zeebrugge,”said one continental player.
