(Heren Energy) - Day-ahead closed a touch firmer at Zeebrugge on Thursday, having risen to early highs of 22.50 p/th, as news circulated the market that water dew-point had been discovered in gas received at the Bacton terminal of the Bacton-Zeebrugge Interconnector.
Despite a statement later in the session from IUK, the pipeline operator, that fully compliant flows to the continent had resumed, some continental traders said the problem would not be resolved for a few hours. Nevertheless, the majority believed the situation was unconnected to last year ’s discovery of liquid hydrocarbons in the pipeline.Day-ahead traded at the close at 20.00 p/th
