(Heren Energy) - Day-ahead continued to fall at Zeebrugge on Tuesday, as contracts came under pressure from an oversupplied system at the NBP, where British pipeline operator Transco was reported to be selling gas in order to rectify a 10 MCM supply overhang.
Zeebrugge Day-ahead fell from an opening level of 18.50 p/th early on to 17.75 p/th where it remained for the majority of the session. The contract hit a low of 17.60 p/th during the afternoon, but subsequently rebounded to the 17.75 p/th on the back of late buying from a handful of players.Demand at both the NBP and on the continent was experiencing the traditional slowdown at the start
