Gas - Curve pushed by oil and power

(Heren Energy) - There were no major supply problems evident at the NBP on Friday and demand was little changed from Thursday. The system was balanced to long for most of the day, having started short, but again, prices held steady.
Contracts from Within-day out to BOM found support in the morning however, as a couple of large players came out buying in a thin and fairly apathetic market. After they had finished, contracts kept most of their gains, but drifted off slightly mid-afternoon as the system gained about 5 Mm3 at 14:00 and a few more metres at 15:00.
