Crude oil prices are trading sideways on Friday morning as the pace of recent decline in oil prices had slowed down, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.24/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.11 on Thursday's close.
On Thursday, the Brent contract settled 11 cents lower at USD 72.13/bbl while in New York the WTI contract shed just 3 cents at USD 73.64/bbl.
