Oil prices are trading around three-month highs on Wednesday after the American Petroleum Institute (API) reported a sharp drop in crude inventories, while hopes persist eurozone leaders will move to bolster their economies.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 114.68/bbl on the Ice platform, up USD 0.04 on Tuesday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI front month contract last traded USD 0.03 higher at USD 96.88/bbl.
