Commodities – US reaction triggers crude gains

Continued geopolitical concerns lifted crude oil prices again on Tuesday as news emerged that the US was rejecting an official approach by Iran allegedly aimed at easing tensions over its nuclear programme.
Crude oil markets saw another boost yesterday when it emerged that the US would reject Iran’s diplomatic move to resolve the tense situation regarding its nuclear enrichment programme.
