US crude is little changed on Wednesday morning, trading close to a two-week high on comments from the IMF about a continuing economic recovery in the US and a receding crisis in the eurozone although a further rise in US crude stocks this afternoon could curb gains.
May's WTI contract last traded up USD 0.23 at USD 104.43/bbl.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil, meanwhile, was last seen changing hands at USD 118.69/bbl on the Ice platform, down USD 0.09 on Tuesday's close.
One Singapore-based trader cited statements by the IMF on Tuesday as supportive to prices and sentiment.
