Oil prices have rebounded from one-month lows in early Thursday trading after tensions between Turkey and Syria flared up on Wednesday, heightening market concerns about security of supply from the Middle East.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 108.66/bbl on the Ice platform, up USD 0.49 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI November contract on Nymex traded USD 0.17 higher at USD 88.31/bbl.
The contracts had ended the previous session down by USD 3.40/bbl and USD 3.75/bbl, respectively, against Tuesday's close to USD 108.17/
