Prices firmed across oil, coal and gas markets Wednesday compared with the previous session, while prices for CO2 allowances eased off a little.
Crude prices moved up in both London and New York, supported by a dispute between Venezuela and the US as well as a less-than-expected rise in US crude inventories last week.The March contract for Brent crude settled at USD 93.27/barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange, up 49 cents on the previous day.
