On the API 2 coal curve, the Q4-07 contract gained two and a half dollars from the previous Friday to close the week at USD 89.00/tonne. Cal 08 rounded off the week with a settlement price of USD 86.80/tonne, up 1.95 week on week.According to coal analyst Guillaume Perret, prices are under pressure from a tight global supply situation.
