Commodities - Still strong despite retreat

Despite a slight correction downwards on Thursday, oil and coal prices continue to trade around record highs.
Oil remains bullish. In London, the ICE Brent front month contract ended the day down 23 cents at USD 112.43,  despite hitting a record high USD 113.38 a barrel earlier during the trading session. In New York , the WTI front month closed down 7 cents at USD 114.86 a barrel, with the contract reaching a session high of USD 115.25 a barrel.Market players continue to stress the weak do

Prices for crude oil once again hit new records Wednesday, with analysts pointing to the weaker dollar as the main factor behind the bullish move. There are however mixed opinions on whether the current price level is sustainable going forward.
