Commodities - Still strong

Carbon traded above the 20 euro level on Tuesday with relatively strong influence from the German power market. Also oil and gas firmed, while coal prices dropped further in the day´s trading session.
On the brokered market, carbon prices traded between EUR 20.00/t and 20.50 during the Tuesday morning session, before softening to 20.20. Market participants saw the main impetus for the movement coming from the German power and its year ahead contract. However, on the German OTC power market, Cal 06 base traded during the morning session at 42.60, rose later to 42.85, climbing to 42.95
