Despite slight falls in crude oil prices, prices elsewhere remained strong.
Crude oil prices settled down a touch after rising in late trading, largely on the back of news that Opec had suspended talks about increasing production quotas by 500,000 barrels a day.Opec said it would resume negotiations only if the oil price hit USD 60/bbl, with  Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah, Opec president and Kuwait’s oil minister, saying that USD 53 for West Texas Intermedia

Commodities - CO25 with cheaper fuels
Carbon record rally continued on Wednesday as the 2005 vintage hit the EUR 25 mark. Crude oil´s retreat from Monday´s peak levels continued as a surprise rise in US inventories pushed the market further south.
