Commodities - Stable market

Carbon stayed stable above the 23 euro mark during last week but softened on Friday. Also oil moved downwards at the end of last week, on expectations of slowing US demand.
Carbon prices moved little across the trading platforms last week. During the five trading sessions, the 2005 vintage for December delivery closed in a narrow range between EUR 23.10/ton and 23.50 at Nord Pool. Oil prices jumped yesterday as Wilma, the 21st named Atlantic storm this season, is entering the Gulf of Mexico and raising fears about energy production in the region. Gas prices gained slightly, while the coal and carbon market only saw minor changes from Friday.
