Prices eased in all fuels at the end of last week with the biggest movements being seen in crude oil. Also CO2 allowances softened as the 2005 vintage closed just below EUR 22 on Friday.
Friday’s trading session saw a good deal of volatility on the Nymex WTI front contract which traded in a range of USD 62.85-64.70/bbl and settled at 63 sharp. The October contract was 1.75 down on Thursday’s settlement price and 1.35 lower week-on-week. The IPE Brent for November ended the week at 61.81, down 1.85 day on day.
