Colder weather forecasts sent some rare bull signals to the fuel markets at the end of last week.
The strong downward trend in the crude price was reversed on Friday, as the front month contract gained 1.11 to settle at USD 52.99/barrel on Nymex and the corresponding Brent contract in London gained 1.25 to end the day at 52.95.
