Commodities - Softer week

Oil prices fell strongly last week on concerns over the US economy. Carbon and gas also adjusted down.
The December 2008 carbon contract settled at EUR 19.06/tonne at the ECX on Friday, down 59 cents day on day and 1.33 from one week earlier. Prices were pushed down by weaker German power prices as well as lower gas and coal prices, Point Carbon reports.The spread between EUAs and CERs narrowed as the CER contract fell 10 cents to EUR 16.10 at Nord Pool.During the week most of the
