Oil prices are rising on Wednesday morning after the American Petroleum Institute reported US crude inventory levels fell 4.5m barrels last week, one analyst said.
The July contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 59.16/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.24 on the previous close. On Tuesday, the contract ended the day up USD 0.45 at USD 58.92/bbl after having traded in a USD 57.69-59.65/bbl range.
