On Tuesday oil and gas prices moved in tandem north, while coal was barely rising and CO2 shed a few cents. The next tropical storm, Emily, was seen as strong bullish player in the market.
Oil prices are on their way up following three days of losses. "A positive development in the oil market. It is difficult to say, however, if it is a technical recovery or new, fresh buying," one trader commented. At NYMEX, August crude settled at USD 60.62 /barrel, up 1.70 on Tuesday.
