Commodities - Quiet end to 2006

Oil prices firmed Friday, whilst the prices moved down on the other commodities markets.
Friday was a quiet day on the carbon market as the market players were preparing for the New Year. The first phase December 07 contract closed at EUR 6.60 a tonne at ECX, merely 10 cents lower than the previous close. On the other hand the second phase December 08 contract traded sideways ending the day at where it started at 18.25.According to Point Carbon’s figures approximately
