Commodities - Prompt oil and carbon move lower

Colder weather forecasts were not enough to maintain oil prices above 59 on Monday as the market was ridding itself of some long positions.
Although weather reports suggested lower temperatures in key consumption regions, the oil market traded down Monday. The loss in value was explained by some traders as ridding books of long positions on the assumption that there is not strong enough support in the market to maintain the USD 60 a barrel level, according to WSJ.The March crude contract on the New York Mercantile Exchange s
