Oil prices are trading flat on Tuesday morning but could edge up further due to an outage at a pipeline supplying crude from Canada to the US mid-west, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 79.10/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.07 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the Brent October contract gained USD 0.87 to settle at USD 79.03/bbl, while in New York the WTI front month rose USD 0.74 to USD 77.19/bbl.
