Oil prices are extending prior-session losses on Friday morning as the market awaits the afternoon's US non-farm payroll data for December to provide direction, traders said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 93.73/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.79 on Thursday's close. On Nymex, prices were little changed with the WTI February contract last traded USD 0.05 lower at USD 88.33/bbl.
