Commodities - Only oil gains

Crude oil and carbon markets pointed in opposite directions yesterday afternoon as oil prices gained strength, while CO2 lost some. Both UK gas and coal came down.
The Nymex WTI rose 93 cents day on day to settle at USD 71.80/bbl. The front month contract saw an intraday range of 70.40 and 71.90. In London, the Brent front month gained 80 cents as it was fixed close to the intraday-high level at 70.73. Yesterday´s trading session saw deals on the August contract going trough between 69.47 and 70.78.The Iraqi oil minister reportedly said the country

Oil prices are steady Monday morning, having strengthened at the end of last week on the back of weaker US gasoline supplies. Gas prices fell in value during last week while carbon stayed in a EUR 15-16 range.
