Commodities - Oil weakens

Oil prices continue the downwards movements seen at the beginning of last week, and gas prices follow the same path. In contrast, carbon strengthened further on Friday.
Oil prices dropped to a six week low Friday. March Nymex West Texas Intermediate lost 78 cents to USD 61.84 a barrel, after being traded at 63.00 earlier in the day. IPE Brent for March delivery plunged USD 1.11 to settle at 59.64 a barrel, and continues down Monday morning, last changing hands at 59.30 at the ICE.The International Energy Agency  trimmed overall global demand growth to 1

Crude oil prices softened on Monday, with UK gas also easing. Carbon took many players by surprise by not reacting bullishly to reports that the UK Nap was likely to be rejected.
