While oil prices soared on Friday after Venezuela threatened to cut exports to the US, coal remained strong and CO2 was up on the back of utility buying.
In New York, the WTI crude oil contract for March delivery ended the week up USD 3.66 at USD 91.77/barrel after having opened at USD 88.26/barrel. Similar gains were seen in the corresponding Brent contract in London, which closed at USD 91.94/barrel on Friday, USD 3.43 above the previous close. This morning, both contracts were seen further up, at USD 92.02 and USD 92.08 respectively. T
