Commodities - Oil up despite Opec quota increase

Opec's decision to lift its production quota by 500,000 barrels a day from 1 November was not enough to calm the oil market yesterday. Prices are continuing up this morning.
At Nymex, the front month WTI gained 74 cents to close at USD 78.23/barrel yesterday and was last seen at 78.30 this morning.Similarly in  London , Brent crude for October gained 90 cents to USD 76.38/barrel yesterday. This morning, the contract was last seen at USD 76.42/barrel.Reportedly it was Saudi Arabia that pressed through an increase in Opec's production quota, but tr
