Oil prices softened Wednesday compared with the previous session, while prices for coal and carbon allowances moved up.
In London, the front-month Brent closed the session at USD 117/barrel, which was 70 cents down on the previous. The contract opened at USD 116.98, before trading at a session-high and low of USD 118.77/bbl and 115.60/bbl respectively.
