Commodities - "Oil's slide continues on downgrade shockwave"

Oil prices are continuing to slide on Tuesday morning, with the Brent contract having dropped below USD 100/bbl at one point in early trading, as the US credit rating downgrade continued to send "shockwaves” across markets.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last seen USD 1.74 below Monday's close at USD 102/bbl, having pulled back from an early intraday low of USD 98.74/bbl. A similar picture was seen on the WTI front month, with the contract last trading down USD 2.60 at USD 78.70/bbl, up from an early low of USD 75.70/bbl. While the Brent contract is currentl
