Oil prices are extending prior-session gains on Tuesday morning - for the fourth consecutive day - as east coast US refinery operations restart following the downgrading of hurricane Irene hence boosting demand, renewed growth hopes and increased volumes following Monday's UK public holiday.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last seen USD 0.40 firmer at USD 112.28/bbl, while the October WTI contract last traded USD 0.10 higher at USD 87.38/bbl.
