Crude oil prices have come down from the recent highs as the weakened Rita did only limited damage to refineries. While gas was up on Friday, the underlying sentiment on the gas market was reported still as bearish. Coal firmed slightly opposed to carbon.
Oil was down more than two dollars at the end of last week as the hurricane Rita weakened and avoided the major refining areas of Houston. With reports of damages at two refineries, the overall damage appeared modest, according to Reuters.
