Crude prices are trading flat on Thursday morning, traders said, after falling in line with the rise in US inventories reported by the US energy administration (EIA) on Wednesday afternoon.
The front month Brent North sea crude contract was last heard USD 0.04 softer at USD 76.23/bbl.
The WTI August contract on Nymex, meanwhile, went through last at USD 76.40/bbl, USD 0.05 firmer day on day.
Inventories rose 2m bbl to 365.1m bbl, despite analyst expectations of an 800,000 bbl decline.
