Oil prices are trading sideways on Tuesday morning after closing weaker on Monday on the back of a stronger dollar against the euro, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 73/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.01 on Monday when it shed USD 0.76 to close at USD 72.99/bbl.
On Nymex, the WTI Feburary contract was last seen traded at USD 73.84/bbl, up USD 0.12 on Monday's close.
A stronger dollar against the euro had pushed the WTI price
