Oil prices are up a touch on Friday morning after falling almost a dollar on Thursday with the market struggling to sustain moves above USD 80/bbl, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 78.50/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.51 on Thursday's close, when the contract settled at USD 77.99, a drop of 90 cents day on day.
On Nymex, the WTI December contract ended Thursday down 78 cents at USD 79.62/bbl.
