Oil prices surged by around 2 dollars on Tuesday, ahead of the US inventory report that will be published today. In contrast, gas prices softened, while carbon traded between EUR 21.30/t and 21.50.
Oil prices increased sharply during yesterday’s trading session. Nymex WTI for December delivery rose 2.12 to USD 62.44/barrel, while IPE brent for the same month gained 2.00 to 60.24. The day to day increase is the strongest since 19 September, when WTI contracts rose around 4 dollars in comparison to the previous session and IPE Brent around 3.50. Possible reasons for yesterday
