Oil prices are rising on Wednesday morning on surprisingly bullish US crude oil inventory figures from the American Petroleum Institute and a weaker dollar, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 69.30/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.74 on Tuesday's close.
In the previous session, the Brent contract gained USD 0.52, ending the day at USD 68.56/bbl.
