Oil prices are trading flat on Monday morning as the market is awaiting the outcome of the Tuesday vote on a USD 780bn stimulus package in the US Senate, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 46.09/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.12 on the previous close. In New York, the WTI March contract was last quoted at USD 40.17/bbl, on par with Friday`s settlement.
