Oil prices are trading flat on Tuesday morning following a jump in the previous session triggered by rising nuclear tension with Iran and receding fears of a new financial crisis sparked by Dubai's credit problems, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.01 at USD 78.48/bbl on the ICE platform. On Nymex, the WTI January contract traded USD 0.09 lower at USD 77.19/bbl.
On Monday, the Brent contract closed up USD 1.29 at USD 78.47/bbl, following trades in a USD 76.40-79.30/bbl range, while the WTI contract gained USD 1.23 to end the day
