Prices in the oil market opened up on Wednesday morning after a drop in the previous session, but players do not expect any "extreme upward developments” in the remainder of the week.
This morning the front-month Brent contract traded at USD 50.50/barrel, up 15 cents on the previous session. Yesterday it traded as high as USD 53.86/bbl earlier in the session. "A short rebound, but nothing permanent,” a trader at a financial institution said.
