Oil prices are trading slightly lower on Friday morning and are expected to remain range-bound prior to the publication of US unemployment figures in the afternoon, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 78.19/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.17 on Thursday's close, when it ended the day up USD 0.48 at USD 78.36/bbl.
On Nymex, the WTI January contract ended Thursday's session at USD 76.46/bbl, down USD 0.14 on the previous close.
